About us
Once upon a time, a humble nun had to prepare a meal for the Archbishop of Puebla, A special Guest such as yourself. She timidly set out her ingredients. Suddenly a magic wind blew through the window of her cocina, whipping the spices into her cooking pot, creating a miraculous taste. Her dinner was a triumph. So De Mole always keeps a window open. We are thrilled to be celebrating 20 years of serving our community, we hope you will like the blend of old and new that we bring to your table!
Our staple dish is, of course, Mole Poblano, which takes five whole days to make. The mole is a three-generation old recipe from our family, combining over 26 spices, each ground, and smoked by hand.
